Still no cast!

Well, we went to the orthopedic's office 2 days after McKenzie broke her arm, they set it and put a splint on it. She cried a little when they set it--who wouldn't?!! All in all she was very calm. Once they got the plaster spint on and got it wrapped, she was all smiles. For almost 2 weeks now she has gathered autographs on her splint and was looking forward to getting a cast today. Well, today they decided to leave the splint on her arm until next Friday, the 29th and then they will evaluate the x-rays at that time and hopefully put the cast on then. That is the same day as her Pre-K Graduation ceremony. Our appt. is at 7am!!! We will definitely be taking a nap that day! Today they rewrapped her splint with purple coban so our splint went from pink to purple. I think she loves changing colors. Who know what color the cast will end up!

Alexis is cruising by holding on to furniture and pants legs and stands briefly by herself (<5 seconds) so I know she will be walking very soon. Speaking of, she will be ONE YEAR OLD next Tuesday! Can you believe it?! This year has absolutely flown by! We are planning her First Birthday Party on the 30th. I sure hope it warms up before then. BRRRRRR!
