Alexis went for her 15 month check up this morning. She's 30 1/2 inches long and 20lbs 11oz. Her height is greater than 50 percentile while her weight is in the 10-25 percentile. Her head circumference is in the 75 percentile! Basically she's long and lean with a head full of brains! She's mastered walking and climbing steps in no time flat!
We also have some more great news to share...Alexis has been chosen as Barrow County's March of Dimes Ambassador for 2010! Sounds like there will be several photo ops in her near future! She will represent the county well!
We had a great Labor Day weekend! Sunday afternoon we packed up the camping gear and headed down to Nana and Papa's for a campout. We pitched the tent and fired up the outdoor fireplace for a campfire dinner. McKenzie's friend Bowen, her mom and brother joined us for dinner and s'mores as well. Alexis camped out in the "big tent" (aka Nana's house) with Nana and Papa while McKenzie, Heath and I slept in our tent under the stars! We had so much fun! We got up Monday morning and cooked breakfast on the campstove! YUM! Now I'm paying the price for that with a stinkin cold! Oh well, at least it's not Swine Flu!
